Coalition for Carolina

If you’re a Carolina grad, you probably attended your share of engaging lectures by some of the country’s top educators during your time on campus.

For those of us who needed a refresher course on the complex topic of immigration policy on campus and an analysis of the latest events of the day, we received a valuable education from two of Carolina’s most respected legal scholars during our recent webinar, “Legal Scholars Discuss: Student Visas and Immigration on Campus.”

Thank you to Jack Boger and Deborah Weissman for leading such an important conversation.

Jack served on the faculty of UNC Law for 27 years until his retirement in 2017 as Wade Edwards Distinguished Professor of Law. Deborah joined the Carolina Law Faculty in 1998 and is the Reef C. Ivey II Distinguished Professor of Law.

We couldn’t have had two more knowledgeable, engaging legal experts leading this conversation – we hope you will take some time out of your day to watch it if you couldn’t join us for the live discussion.

Thank you, also, to those who joined us. We hope you found it to be as informative as we did.

For those who want a quick recap, you can view some highlights where our legal experts discuss:

We’re already planning our next events. If you have an idea for a webinar topic, please send us a note at contact@coalitionforcarolina.org.
